About KPP Test Malaysia

In Malaysia, getting your driving license isn’t just about passing a test — it’s a step toward independence. For many young Malaysians, a license means access to jobs, education and opportunities that public transport alone can’t provide, especially outside of Kuala Lumpur.

But the KPP theory exam can be a real barrier. Study materials are often outdated, scattered across random websites, or buried behind paywalls and ads. And if Malay or English isn’t your strongest language, it gets even harder. There was no single place where a Chinese-speaking student in Johor or a Tamil-speaking learner in Ipoh could study comfortably in a language they actually understand — while still learning the Malay terms they’ll see on the real exam.

So we built this: a clean, free, multilingual KPP practice platform. No sign-ups. No paywalls. Just the questions, the study material and the tools you need to pass.

What you’ll find here

  • ✓500+ practice questions across Section A (road signs), Section B (road rules) and Section C (KEJARA & safety)
  • ✓A full timed simulation of the real JPJ computer test — 70 questions plus the color-vision screening, 75 minutes, 80% to pass
  • ✓Ishihara color blind test practice, required before the real exam
  • ✓31 chapters of study notes based on the official Kurikulum Pendidikan Pemandu 2021 (16 for car, 15 for motorcycle)
  • ✓In-depth guides on the licensing process, exam tips, the KEJARA demerit system and Malaysian road signs
  • ✓Everything in four languages: English, Bahasa Melayu, 中文 and தமிழ்

Who is behind this site?

KPP Test Malaysia is an independent project built by a Malaysian developer — not a driving school and not affiliated with JPJ. The site is free to use and is kept running by a small amount of advertising.

The Chinese and Tamil study materials are written in dual-language format (paired with Bahasa Melayu) on purpose: the real exam is only offered in Malay or English, so this way you understand the content and learn the exam language at the same time.

Accuracy & updates

Our study notes follow the official JPJ Kurikulum Pendidikan Pemandu 2021 curriculum, and the simulation mirrors the current computerised KPP01 format (70 questions, 75 minutes, 80% passing mark, color-vision screening first) used since the KPP Gabungan update in August 2025.

Exam requirements can change — always confirm details with your driving institute. If you find an outdated or incorrect question, please tell us and we will fix it.
